Venturi blasting nozzles are specialized nozzles used in abrasive blasting or sandblasting applications.  They are designed to create a high-velocity stream of abrasive particles that are propelled by a combination of compressed air and the Venturi effect.

These nozzles are commonly used in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, construction, and shipbuilding for tasks like surface cleaning, paint removal, rust removal, and surface texturing.  They offer precise control over the blasting process and can be adjusted to achieve the desired level of surface roughness or cleanliness.

The nozzle liner can be made from boron carbide or silicon carbide or tungsten carbide. Boron carbide liner material is the most abrasive-resistant, durable nozzle liner material; silicon carbide liner material is less durable than boron carbide but economical and almost the same weight as boron carbide liner. 

Different materials of Nozzle Insert determine different service life when blasting with aggressive media. The life of boron carbide nozzle insert is 5-10 times of tungsten carbide nozzle insert, 2-3 times of silicon carbide nozzle insert, and 100 times of iron / cast iron nozzle insert.

Boron carbide inserts: The liner of the boron-carbide Venturi sandblasting nozzle is made from hot-pressed boron carbide, this abrasive blast nozzle offers chemical and wears resistance properties, making it ideal for abrasives such as garnet, aluminum oxide, and steel grit to enter the nozzle. 

Silicon carbide inserts: Silicon carbide Venturi sandblasting nozzle designed to be hard-wearing and long-lasting, this abrasive blast nozzle features a silicon nitride liner which reduces the weight of the abrasive blast nozzle by approximately 50%.

Tungsten carbide inserts: Tungsten carbide Venturi sandblasting nozzle is ideal for use with aggressive abrasives, the lightweight makes less operator strain and increases productivity.
